The City of Peru is soliciting proposals for the purchase and/or development of surplus real estate commonly known as Lot 4 of Master-View Park Subdivision. (LaSalle County PIN# 11-31-305-002) (15.439± acres).
The Development Property is located 1,000± feet north of Interstate 80 Exit 73. It offers 440± of frontage to Plank Road and 1,800± feet of frontage to Master-Builder Way. It is also currently accessible from Plank Road via Brennen Drive. However, the property owners adjacent to Brennen Drive have expressed an interest and desire for the City to vacate the roadway.
The Development Property is zoned M2 Manufacturing District under the City’s Zoning Ordinance, and its current use is agriculture. The Development Property is included in the new Peru MVP Tax Increment Financing District established June 20, 2022, and may also be approved for inclusion in the UIRVDA Enterprise Zone administered by the Upper Illinois River Valley Development Authority.
