Section 1-1-12 of the Illinois Municipal Code, 65 ILCS 5/1-1-12, requires each municipality that maintains a website to post on its website the following information:
- The name, office address and telephone number of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) coordinator, if any, employed by the municipality; and,
- The grievance procedures, if any, adopted by the municipality to resolve complaints alleging a violation of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
There is no employee identified as ADA Coordinator and no official grievance procedures have been adopted. Please provide notice of concerns to:

ENTERPRISE ZONE
The Upper Illinois River Valley Development Authority (UIRVDA) is the administrator for the City of Peru.
With the heat index values of 105 expected this week, the Peru Municipal Building, Peru Police Department and Peru Fire Department will be open to the public as a cooling center until 3:30 pm in response to the Heat Advisory issued by the National Weather Service for LaSalle County.
City Offices Closed-July 3rd
The Peru Municipal Building and City Departments will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day.
There is NO interruption in garbage/recycling collection.
